What to do about infected pore or genital herpes?

First, see doctor...: ...to learn which it is. Obviously the treatments for herpes and for "infected pore" (sebaceous cyst, pimple, folliculitis, etc) are very different from one another. If you are known to have genital herpes, each outbreak is usually pretty much like all the others. If you have a single pimple-like lesion, an "infected pore" is much more likely than herpes.
