Premature delivery: Ideally, your pregnancy would go 38-40 weeks, but most babies born at 36 weeks do fairly well. They are more prone to having problems maintaining blood sugar, increased risk of jaundice, and occassionally temperature instability and feeding problems. These issues are usually anticipated and detected early, and with appropriate monitoring and treatment have no long term impact.
