A member asked:

What happens if someone contracted hpv while pregnant does that mean the baby will have it?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

HPV pregnancy: No. Contracting HPV during pregnancy does not expose the fetus. The potential source of exposure to the fetus is during delivery but the risk of the baby actually becoming infected in a way that will have an impact on the baby's health is very low.
