Possible infection: This could be a possible side effect of chemotherapy, but that would more commonly affect both eyes, with redness, irritation, and possible dryness. If it's only one eye, you must consider an infection as a possibility, or inflammation in the eye. If the redness is a deep color, like blood, one of the surface blood vessels may have popped; this is harmless;visit your eye doctor soon.
