No: That is certainly not a reason to go to the ICU. His treatment depends on many parameters: symptoms, change in status, overall health, how the ischemia was diagnosed,associated findings - just to name a few. I would advise him to delay his trip to Mt. Everest and discuss his results with his doctor for a comprehensive treatment plan. Doctors treat people, not test results.
