Absolutely yes!: C-section is sometimes done when there is a genital herpes outbreak at the time of labor, to prevent transmitting to the baby. That may make you think that if you're having a CS for other reasons, you don't need to say anything. Not true! Other precautions also may be wise, such as treatment with acyclovir near term. Any woman with GH should tell her Ob. (Almost all Ob's will ask anyway about GH.)
