What do you suggest if my mom has stage 4 colon cancer it spread to most of her intestines can she get radiation treatment?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No RT: Colon Cancer is best handled by resection of the primary. If therre is no remaining primary, local sites of mets can be handled but disseminated disease is treated only by chemotherapy. FOLFOX is used followed by the mAbs Erbitux and Avastin (bevacizumab). If that fails there are othr monolonals in FDA trials targeting immunogenic proteins expressed in colon cancer that have failed other tretments.
