Cutis gyrata: There is a primary and secondary form of the disease. The primary form may be combined with genetic conditions the secondary form is caused by inflammatory processes like eczema or psoriasis and causes furrowing and thickening of the skin of the scalp

This is a very rare: disorder. It has primary causes :primary essential cutis verticis gyrata for cases in which no other abnormality was found (rare) and primary nonessential, which can be associated with mental deficiency, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, schizophrenia, cranial abnormalities , deafness, ophthalmologic abnormalities and secondary causes that are numerous. There is no treatment but sometimes underlying cause
