S&S track severtiy : A way to frame an answer would be to cite that diabetes can be present for years before symptoms; thus smaller deviation in blood glucose escape detection. As gluose levels rise further intermittant blurring of vision, thirst, hunger, with weight loss, increased urination and diffficulty concentrating particularly after food intake appear. After time lethergy, confusion and coma can result.
