"late" period: Two days is not uncommon, and a negative pregnancy test is not always reliable if it is a urine test. Sometimes ovulation is delayed (stress, etc) and menstruation after ovulation occurs almost always 14 days later. If no period occurs in the next 4-5 days, obtain a serum test for pregnancy (not urine). If negative, your period is just delayed. See your healthcare professional if this persists.

Normal variant: A regular period could occur every 21 to 35 days. Periods rarely start on the same exact day every month. Sometimes they could be a few days off and still be normal. Sometimes stress may alter our periods slightly. To better help with these issues, I hope that you visit an OBGYN
