Tubal ligation: A tubal ligation ("tying one's tubes") will not generally affect the menstural cycle. It could mean that the stress of the operation might have delayed your cycle , or it may be possible that pregnancy may have occurred. If your period does not occur or if you have symptoms of pregnancy, get a serum test (not urine) for pregnancy: if negative, consult your healthcare professional for advice.
