Need more info: Is this time for your period? If yes, it is your period. Cramps are not essential to have a menstrual bleed. The amount of blood lost in a period varies and a light period is still a period.

Could be : If your period is due now then the bleeding is due to your period. Periods can vary quite a bit and still be normal.
