I have not seen it: True allergic reactions to sudafed are rare. More commonly people will not tolerate the drug effects of the medication. This can include heart racing, elevated blood pressure, sleeplessness, feeling jittery. This medication can case problems with an enlarged prostate and certain kinds of glaucoma. In the first trimester of pregnancy, it is associated with an increased incidence of a birth defect.
