Possibly: You may be having pain from gallstones. If the epigastric pain is on the right where the gallbladder is located, this could be related to gallstones. Occasionally, patients have referred pain to the area between the shoulder blades. It is more common to have pain under the right shoulder blade than the left. You can have your doctor check for gallstones with an ultrasound.
