My ekgs show possible old infarcts, age can't be determined. i was told all ekgs show that. my cxrs, show cardiomegaly. what does that mean?

Unusual: All EKGs don't show old infarcts...unless you've had prior heart attack--OR--a few other uncommon variants, and should be reviewed with your Dr or a Cardiologist, particularly with cardiomegaly on CXR (which means enlarged heart). CM can be from reversible conditions, so should be evaluated.

All EKGs: Do not show that, but a possible infarct can only be determined for sure by a scan or echo. Cardiomegaly means an enlarged heart which again the significance can be shown with an echocardiogram
