See below: You had a period, albeit short, and a negative pregnancy test since your last episode of sex. If that is correct, you are not pregnant. If abdominal pain persists, it would be prudent to see your doctor. If you do not wish to be pregnant use contraception all the time, every time. Practice safe sex.

Pregancy:light mp: If the serum (blood) pregnancy test is negative, a short period may just indicate an ovarian cyst which persisted after ovulation. The serum test is very accurate, so you are most likely not pregnant. The abdominal pain may be due to a persistant ovarian cyst. If such continues, see your healthcare professional for a possible ultrasound. exam.
