Period "late".: Not all periods occur "on time". A slight delay may be "normal" on occasion, but "unprotected sex a week before ovulation" may not have avoided pregnancy. Ovulation is not always a regular event, and may occur earlier in a given cycle, so pregnancy is possible. If no period occurs in the next 5-7 days, obtain a serum pregnancy test (not urine) from your health professional.
