Expecting period?: If spotting occurred exactly when you were supposed to have your period then, either the period is running later than usual or you need to get a pregnancy test done. Have you had spotting before since having the tubes tied? Remember tied tubes does not sterilization make. Only removal of ovaries accomplishes that mission. Now, if you just missed your period I'd wait a few more days. Still may come
