Sxs and med eval: Symptoms of a yeast infection may include: burning, redness & itching of the vulva; burning with urination & vaginal intercourse & a clumpy, white, vaginal discharge with no odor. Sometimes the discharge isn’t apparent.

Yeast: you would have whitish, cottage cheese like discharge with itching. The doctors usually just by doing exam and seein the discharge can make diagnosis without any other test. There are some Feminine screening kit available in pharmacies to test for yeast infection.

Signs of yeast : infections can vary; but for the majority of cases, you will have an itchy vulva and labial folds. There is also a cheese (curd) like vaginal discharge which may be foul smelling. I however recommend you visit your ob/gyn for confirmation because it could also be confused with bacterial vaginosis, chlamydia or other vaginal infections, that is if you are sexually active.

Typical symptoms..: include a thick or cottage-cheese like white vaginal discharge, or sometimes intense itching and redness in and around the labia. If this is your first possible yeast infection, I would recommend you get it checked and confirmed by your doctor so you're sure you know what you're dealing with and you get the best medication to treat it.
