Your doctor might decide to give you medication to take before you get the infection every month for 6 months. also keep these things in mind too: never use vaginal douche products Wear cotton underwear, loose fitting pants Change out of a wet bathing suit or workout clothes right away Don't go in hot tub.

Hard to say: Although it is possible to have lengthening in the cervical mucus around the time of ovulation, the vaginal discharge combines with the itching could be a yeast infection.
