I had a d+c procedure done 3pm on monday because of heavy bleeding, menorrhagia, my back hurts, its normal do to the spinal anesthesia? what else is normal after that procedure? just to be calm. thank

D&C: A mild back ache is normal after the spinal. By backache I mean point tenderness at the site of the injection. Also, They put your legs up in stirrups for the procedure, and, if they weren't gentle in the up/down, that can strain back muscles.
