Tubal ligation/moods: If you had a tubal ligation it should not affect periods or moods unless your ovaries were removed also. Female hormones go from the ovaries to the bloodstream. Now if you had a baby recently then that would be the reason for the mood changes and menstrual cycle changes. If you did have a baby then please look up postpartum depression.

Probably not related: There is a period of adjustment with any procedure. Most likely other factors could be part of the sleepiness and emotions
