Anemia: It really depends on the cause. If you have blood loss anemia you need to find out where you are losing blood. Sometimes this can be in stool or even in your urine. Other causes of anemia include Iron def.,B12 or Folate (folic acid) def. These are treated with dietary supplements. See your doctor for an evaluation. Also exposure to Lead can cause anemia.

Find cause first?: Anemia is a serious ailment and can be caused by many diffent causes. So the first order of business is to get checked by a good doctor who can run tests in order to find the cause. You can either go to an internist or to a specialist(Hematologist) who will figure out the cause first and then offer you a remedy for it.
