Possible ingestion.: It sounds like either pieces of partially digested food, if there was something white he/she ate...or possibly a foreign body that he/she ingested. It is possible that they are pieces of medication. You should call your doctor to see if he/she needs to be checked. Also, look around the house for white substances and open pill bottles and let your doctor know about those also.
