A member asked:

I have been having symptoms of pregnancy, my temp rose from my normal temp (98.4) to 99.3. is that a pregnancy or period symptom?

Neither: A pregnancy test positive or negative is the best determiner of that concern. Low grade temperature elevations are not indicative of a period in most cases.

Can't tell from temp: Daily temperature tends to fluctuate a degree or more for most people, so that is not specific enough to diagnose pregnancy or menses, Other symptoms of pregnancy like nausea and breast fullness tend to come after the first missed period, at which time you can take a pregnancy test.
