Eyebrows red?: Do they itch? Did you use any dye? Other product? It sounds like a probable allergic reaction. You could try some OTC hydrocortisone cream or ointment. Best wishes to you.

Dermatitis: It's possible you may have irritation of the skin around the base of the hair. Usually there is some itching & flaking. You may have other skin irritation too, like on the eyelashes, around the ears, scalp, & corners of the nose. Seborrheic dermatitis of the eyebrows would be helped by a trial of over the counter hydrocortisone 2% as directed. If no aid, an exam is warranted as other possibilities

Seborrhea: If both eyes have the same redness, and especially is there is flaking and crustiness and sometimes itching, then you have seborrhea of the eye brows. This is like dandruff and an be treated with cleaning, and the application of over the counter cortisone cream.

Diagnosis: Hi, it’s hard to say without a picture but there is a great app that may be able to help you get a diagnosis without being seen in person by a dermatologist. The app is called VisualDX and is one of the best, if not the best out there. Many clinicians, including myself, use it. Just snap a photo and it gives you a list of possible diagnoses. Good luck!
