Does picking keratosis pilaris make it worse?

Doesn't help.: Keratosis pilaris is notorious b/c there's no great treatment for it. While picking at it won't make worse necessarily, it does put you at risk for bacterial skin infections - all those little critters living under your nails are now buried into your skin.
