Higher estrogen dose: Tri-Sprintec and Ortho Tri-cyclen Lo have exactly the same progresterone (Norgestimate) but Tri-sprintec has 35 mcg of Estradiol and Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo only has 25 mcg of . Estradiol. The symptoms may be due to the slightly higher estrogen dose.
