17 week pregnancy: Vag d/c in pregnancy can be secretions, or yeast or other infections. It is not a necessary event to confirm pregnancy. At your next visit they will listen to baby's heart beat, and you should be getting ultrasound at 18-20 wks; some women also feel little flutters as they perceive first baby movements, as well as a growing belly. These will be signs of progressing pregnancy. Keep all Dr's visits
