Is hemorrhoid contagious?

Hemorrhoids : Straining too much at the time of a bowel movement over time can lead to hemorrhoids. Almost everyone has them. They are not contagious because they aren't caused by infection. Trying to eat right (lots of fruits/veggies), lots of water, and avoiding dehydration and constipation should help. Surgery is an option but painful- so recommend to limit them from the beginning.
