Crying: Babies cry frequently and sometimes exuberantly. Their faces may turn red from the effort of their crying. A parent should certainly ensure that the child is not in pain or discomfort, and feed /change diaper as needed. However, as long as the child is breathing well, crying itself is unlikely to be dangerous. Consult the child's doctor if you think there may be something wrong with the child.
