Why do i get really cold during my period?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Prostaglandin: Most likely the cold is from a release of prostaglandin from your menstrual lining. If you are not allergic to Naproxen (aleve), try blocking it with aleve, (naproxen) one pill in the am and pm starting a couple of days before your menses starts, continuing though the menses. If the chill is accompanied with shakes and a fever, see your doctor and stop using tampons for menses until you are examined.
