Observation for Now: I would suggest observation and abstinence for now. You may use a mild analgesic such as Tylenol (acetaminophen) for any discomfort. The tiny bumps and burning red marks near the vaginal opening may be the result of contact irritation, which should improve in the absence of continued contact irritation. If you have a new sexual partner or symptoms worsen, an STD should be considered and evaluated in the office.
