Yes but...: You may have heavier bleeding until it completely stops. Provera (medroxyprogesterone) is progesterone and causes the endometrial lining to shed. If it doesn't stop in 5 days call your doctor or if the bleeding gets too heavy and you are concerned about blood loss. Concerned would be feeling fatigued, short of breath, or chest pain. You can take some iron over the counter once a day to help replace it.
