It takes time: It is not unusual for your menstrual cycles and your periods to take several months to become regular again. Keep a menstrual diary: day of month, # of days bleeding, flow, cramps, clots. If after 4-6 months, you are still concerned, make an appointment with a gynecologist and take your menstrual diary with you.
