Diagnosed with viral bronchitis 3 daysago. dr said both lungs filled, not much air flow,gave me an inhaler and steroids. feel same, should i go to er?

Depends: It depends on how you were feeling at the time. Being short of breath or having chest pain or persistent fever are possible reasons to go to ER. Depends: If you are significantly short of breath then you need to go to the ER. Viral bronchitis takes 7-10 days to resolve. The treatment he gave was appropriate but it does take time. If you are breathing normally and not breathless when you walk or talk but just coughing like crazy, there may not be much else that can be done. Good luck
