None recommended: If your HgB level is high because you live or exercise at high altitudes, this is a normal adaptation to low atmospheric oxygen pressures. If you descend to low altitude, your HgB level will "naturally" decrease. However, the most important questions are (1) why is your HgB level is high and (2) is it causing any secondary health problems. You need to ask your medical care provider.
