Celebrex!: Short term use of vioxx rarely caused issues and was an excellent pain reliever. I believe Celebrex (celecoxib) is a very safe drug. I have taken both. Vioxx 8 years ago for an injury (3mo), and i will take a soradic Celebrex (celecoxib) for ahtletic pain.

See below: There is no such thing as a drug that does not have potential and sometimes serious side effects. When doctors choose to prescribe drugs to their patient, good ones will think about the potential benefits versus the potential risks given their patient's individual medical history. They will discuss these benefits and risks with their patients so hopefully an informed decision can be made.

Yes: Its a personal question, but yes i would would take them if i had inflammatory pain. Cox2 selective drugs (vioxx, celebrex) may be the only nsaids that a patient with stomach problems may tolerate.
