Average or Healthy?: These are 2 VERY different issues. Depending on build and muscle mass, ~120 lbs would tend to correlate with optimal healthy status by longstanding data, as first tracked/promoted by the MET LIFE Co. in the early 1940s. However, the 2014 normal (simply means usual/common, not healthy) in the US (given the last ~40-60 years of the Low-Fat diet promotion as healthy) is ~165 lbs. What is your goal?
