Skin rashes: Skin rashes needed to be seen and examined to get proper diagnosis and treatment. If the burning rash lies along the dermatome or along the spinal nerves, it can be an early sign of shingles. In any case, you need to make an office visit to a local physician.

See your PCP/Derm dr: Not enough info or history to speculate on, but if it's raised and burns, you want to make sure it's not infected, or a bug or tick bite, or venom from something else, or something more serious? Have it checked out, and you want to make sure it doesn't spread, and get you in trouble. So, don't let it fester. Get help, and a diagnosis.
