Menstrual spotting: I would like to know how recently this patient had her gynecologic procedures. Brownish discharge is very common after these procedures & may last for a couple of weeks. It also can follow a menstrual period when the uterine lining isn't completely shed during the period itself. Further information is needed to determine if this is "normal" or not.
