Probably blood pools: Blood Pools at end of the day after being on them all day and gravity keeps it there. That can make the legs hot. Elevating the legs would help. Also iron deficiency and electrolyte abnormalites such as potassium and magnesium abnormalities should be ruled out. If you were an older person then lower spine narrowing and nerve root compression, neuropathy can be added to the possible causes.
