Time: Hair grows at the rate of approximately 6 inches a year. Some diseases negatively impact that rate, but there is little that can be done clinically to increase how fast hair grows. Diet, vitamins, and fish oils are postulated to increase growth, but there are limited clinical trials to demonstrate this.
