Normal effects: You must talk over your side effects with the physician who prescribed the medication so the dose may be changed or the drug may be changed.

Hang in there: When starting new medications for ADD/ADHD, side effects can be what you notice first. Most of the time they go away in 2-3 weeks after brain adjusts to the new medication. Unless side effects are severe, I don't change med or dose until after that point. Hang in there a little bit longer , especially since you are seeing some benefits.
