Chicken Pox: Per the CDC: "A person with chickenpox can spread the disease from 1 to 2 days before they get the rash until all their chickenpox blisters have formed scabs." Even if you have no further blisters - public pools will likely not want you to enter the water with wounds on your body. This is a basic rule for most public pools.

Yes: You are no longer contagious at least, once they are crusted. The chlorine may be somewhat burning, but it may help some patients in the healing process too. You can try swimming, and if it irritates you, you can stop as needed. Hopefully you will be the one it can actually help. Best wishes.
