Yes, but...: Could also be two independent problems. The infected tooth needs to be treated yesterday rather than tomorrow, or infection may spread to other organ systems. Please see your Dentist ASAP. If sinus symptoms disappear with treatment of infected tooth you will have your answer.

Very likely: Yes the sinus is in veery close proximity to the molars. An untreated infection on one of the molars in the area can spread very easily to the sinus and infect it, treatment of the sinus must include treatment of the teeth in the area.
