5-7 is normal: Over 10 days is considered worthy of an exam. Especially if it occurs more than once. But otherwise try not to worry. You might hear that this could be related to PCOS and it might. But, not necessarily. A bit over 5 is normal and even longer might not be serious. If you get to 10 days, call you provider for an exam. If there's pain or other issues call now.

Bleeding: I do not know. Are you on any medications that could cause this, such as aspirin, Ibuprofen, nsaids, etc.? If actively bleeding for 5 days, you need to see the Dr. for eval and some routine blood work. Best wishes.
