Whose? How much? Why?: A small amount accidentally of your own or a healthy human is probably not dangerous, but you could call a poison hotline for advice or reassurance. A lot, from an animal or a human who may not be healthy can be a problem - not likely to be lethal, but definitely call a poison hotline. 1-800-222-1222 Good luck! Be more careful in the future, okay?

Not a good idea.: Stool contains material not usable by the human body as well as bacteria( and possibly other organisms) that can be harmful if eaten. If someone were to eat human waste, the effects on that person could range from no ill effect - all the way to severe illness (possibly including vomiting, diarrhea, dehydration, hepatitis, or other serious infection.) Definitely not a good idea.
