Probably unnecessary: Apparently, you're an herpes-carrier with sporadic flare-up, who will not shed and spread virus at remission. Besides, all humans have their natural barriers - unbroken skin, which will prevent virus invasion. So, all-in-all, there is no practical reason to disinfect toilet seat after each use during remission. But, personal mental comfort level may highly vary so you decide.
