Fiber can help: It is common to have bowel symptoms such as constipation or diarrhea with your ovulation and menstrual cycle. There is no "cure" for this, but increasing your fiber intake (fruits, veggies, oatmeal), using an over the counter fiber supplement such as psyllium husk or a stool softener such as docusate sodium can help if you use them during your problem times.
